Description

These primed cases have never been fired. They are essentially new cases that from demilled military ammunition. They have the normal Lake City spotting and some remnant tar sealant, but once loaded, they will shine up nicely in your vibratory tumbler. They have crimped primers. Like with all new brass, it is recommended that you resize the neck of this brass before loading to ensure that you have consistent neck tension. This can be accomplished by removing the decapping pin from your resizing die.

As is the case with all demilled products, you may find a few mixed headstamps. However, from what we’ve seen, nearly all of this brass is manufactured by Lake City! Please note that Lake City cases are generally dirtier than our standard cases. This may have something to do with them being military cases.

NOTE: These must ship UPS ground. The price includes shipping within the lower 48 states. If you are outside of the lower 48 please contact us for additional shipping rates.

Good quality LC Brass. doesn’t need trimming, but it comes to you very dirty and sticky. There is sealant inside the neck that took some work to clean out. For me it took heated ultrasonic cleaning followed by flash hole deburring, crimp removal, and then I got the necks spotless by putting a 30 cal bronze brush in a cordless drill and ran it for about three seconds and it was looking like new. My technique cost me the primers, so maybe try the bronze brush first, and then tumble. Some of the necks are ovalized so neck sizing is required. or full length without the depriming pin.

The brass I received was as clean as surplus bulk LC M80 ammo being sold out there. I don’t know what the gripe is about the bullet sealant. Just neck size and chamfer the case mouth. The cases are good to go. Wish I had the funds to buy more.

528 cases in perfect shape no sealant best deal in the country.primed unfired cases at these prices,I’ll be buying 1000s more.I got 50 338 winmags from elsewhere in Winchester bags short 1 and 2 necks unusable,45 bucks, never again.just wish RMR carried 3006 and 338 winmag.9 mm makarov,762×39 never the less they will always have my business

After reading the other reviews, I decided I’d take a chance on these. I wasn’t disappointed. The cases are clean; remnant asphalt sealer was in the mouth of the case. I can clean this out with lacquer thinner and Q-tips (the ones my wife doesn’t like and gives me). No way will I waste the primers. The cases are plenty clean enough to neck size. Others have complained about out of round mouths. This is a non-issue, cured when neck sizing occurs. These will be easy reloading.

I loaded a bunch of these. I guess if you want to clean out the sealant you can, but I didn’t. They’re already sized so I just used a RCBS neck sizing die with the decapping pin taken off to get the necks all uniform. I loaded over 750 of them without needing to clean the punch. Just clean off the punch once in a while and they are 100%.

Perfect quality with an even better price, un-fired brass with a primer at this price can’t be beat. The vast majority of the 1000 I bought were good enough to reload without resizing but as is tradition you resize anyway. Mostly clean, I’m not looking for absolute perfection out of my groups so I didn’t spend too much time cleaning the case mouth. Will definitely be getting more when funds allow.

I started out with 250 just to see what they were all about and have to say that I am totally impressed! No, they aren’t all shiny, but not even half as bad as expected.

They’re clean as a pin on the inside where it all matters!

I didn’t have issue with any “sticky sealer” or bent mouths, or,, anything!! I took the tip from another and cleaned the neck with a little brush, but that’s just me.

The shortest was 2.005 with the longest @ 2.011. (yeah, she measured them ALL!)Once I finished rolling them up, we gave the outside a bit of a polish – just b’cuz- and they look as good as- if not better than new!!

    Will definitely buy again!

I got the unlucky batch, running through my neck sizer I noticed they were bad off with the asphalt sealant. Instead, I ran them through a Lee universal eXpander and then through my collet neck sizing die without the mandrel. Seemed to work ok. With the cost of primers, no way I was going to waste any depriming them. I may try to clean up a few and compare how they shoot with uncleaned ones.
