As one of the earlier posts mentioned, the \”Fat Ogive\” is an issue with this bullet. My EGW 50-round case gauge block will \”Fail\” any rounds that have an O.A.L. greater than 1.055\”. (EGW gauge blocks tend to imitate chambers with essentially NO lead into the rifling.)

When I use the barrel from my SIG P250 as a gauge, ….I find that I can seat the bullet out to 1.110\”, and have no chambering issues at all.

In my mind, this is a problem because I own several 9mm weapons, and I would much prefer to load to one standard O.A.L. , and be confident of the functionality in all my weapons. …..Also, \”deep seating\” 9mm loads can critically effect chamber pressures and limit your max charge. ( …I have a copy of \”Quickload\”, and it is amazing how a .020\” change in seating depth alters 9mm chamber pressure!)

I love RMR\’s products, and over the past 7 years, I have used thousands and thousands of their bullets: ……But in the case of this 124 JHP, I kinda wish that they had a version that featured a more \”typical\” 9mm ogive.

…….But as a side note, this projectile is PERFECT for my 357 SIG loads, since that round requires a deep seated projectile to meet SAAMI O.A.L. specifications.
