I also recently started working up some of these 147gr with Enforcer. There is not a lot of data out there, most all of it is 140gr or 158gr.

I tried 13.5gr and 14.0gr, at 1.590 OAL, CCI small pistol magnum primers. Both ran fine, pretty tame, no signs of pressure. Out of my 4.2\” GP100, the 13.5gr chrono\’d 1180fps, and the 14.0gr was 1215fps. I was thinking about going a little higher.

But wow your 15.8gr must be a spicy load. Hard to believe you\’re not seeing 1300fps out of a 6\” barrel with that. Ramshot data lists a max load of 16.0gr for a 140gr Sierra going 1457 out of a 6\”. What primers are you using?

Also, just for reference, I chrono\’d some Geco 158gr factory ammo out of my 4.2\”, and it ran 1200fps. It definitely had more kick than my 14.0gr enforcer load.
