Most SS pins are made from one of the magnetic alloys referred to as the 400 Series. So you can fish out the pins pretty easily for smaller tumbler batches. Horror Freight has inexpensive magnets strong enough to grab pins out of the container and/or police up the floor if you have some got-a-ways. Don\’t go too strong or it is harder to scrape the pins back off.

That becomes a bit tedious for larger batches, so I am going try Mr. Teebken\’s strainer method. Nice tip!
