I am not that experienced of a re-loader and the primary mistake I was making was not in recognizing the signs of an under powered load.
I was blaming OAL when it was the 5gn charge of Silouette that caused failure to feed and failure to eject because the slide was not cycling all of the way back. —The guys at RMR bullets were very helpful once I reached out to them for help.
I looked at the RamShot data and worked up to a a 6gn — 9mm +P load with an OAL of 1.120\”.
I was getting 1150fps from the 6gn charge in the G17.
With the G26 I only get 1050 fps, and did not feel comfortable using a larger charge.
