A couple thoughts; Have you tried different magazines? When I started reloading the Multi Use 124 JHPs I noticed a close resemblance to Nosler bullets so I began with Nosler data. The Lee manual is just OK, but it\’s the last manual I look at for data. For RMR bullets I use my Nosler manual (but I have manuals from all the bullet manufacturers\’ bullets I use)…
I purposely used the same magazine in all of my testing.
I trust the Lee data and it\’s the only manual I use.
Would be nice if the manufacturer would offer more guidance
I have a hell of a lot of other things I would rather spend my time
figuring out. 😛I would think you are unnecessarily limiting yourself and your troubleshooting; only one magazine, only one manual? Have you tried contacting RMR? I have and gotten good data quickly (looking for data on velocity requirements for Multi use bullets.).
Since they feed fine in the G17 and not the G26, the first thing I’d look at is the magazine spring. They wear out and when they get weak, they do not shove the stack of cartridges up fast enough for the pick-up rail on the slide to feed them. Trying a different, preferably newer, magazine should be the first check. If you are using the G17 mag in the G26, your grip may be putting pressure on the lower portion of the magazine causing an unnatural feed angle.
Second thing, regarding OAL: Use a factory ball round of good feed reliability to set your seating die with the round nose seating stem. (I use M882 NATO ammo for this.) Lock the die settings in place per the ball round. Without changing settings, load a dummy round with the JHP. Cycle it through the pistol by hand and watch for hang-ups. I’ve found, using this technique, the spot on the ogive of the RN bullet which hits the feed ramp will be the same spot on the JHP which hits the feed ramp and causes good feed reliability.
I also have a Gen 4 G26 and G19. I\’m shooting the 9MM 124 GR. RMR FMJ TRUNCATED CONE FLAT POINT MATCHWINNER BULLETS. With these pistols the chamber will accept a MAX loaded round of 1.150\”. This is where the bullet is kissing the rifling. A round will cycle but not very smoothly. To get smooth cycling the longest OAL for these two barrel is rounds measuring 1.120\”.
At 1.160\” I really think the rounds are too long. You can take your G17 mags that cycle the 1.160\” and see if they will cycle in the G26. I would work up a shorter loading. 1.100-1.120\”.
Question on the 1.160\” rounds? Do they plunk in the g26 barrel and can you spin them in the chamber?
As a side note, I picked up a G45 with the new Markman Barrel. My 1.120\” loads will not plunk in this barrel. I have to push them down to 1.100\”. Haven\’t had a chance to shoot is but will probably end up loading all my ammo to 1.100\”. KISS theory.

I am not that experienced of a re-loader and the primary mistake I was making was not in recognizing the signs of an under powered load.
I was blaming OAL when it was the 5gn charge of Silouette that caused failure to feed and failure to eject because the slide was not cycling all of the way back. —The guys at RMR bullets were very helpful once I reached out to them for help.I looked at the RamShot data and worked up to a a 6gn — 9mm +P load with an OAL of 1.120\”.
I was getting 1150fps from the 6gn charge in the G17.
With the G26 I only get 1050 fps, and did not feel comfortable using a larger charge.I hope that this helps.
