With a 15-20 mph headwind, I would expect maybe 1/2\” deviation at 50 yards, but maybe more likely 1/16\”.
I am searching for my tool right now, so I will figure out if the barrel is properly mounted first. Last night I took my BCG apart and cleaned everything with some quickshot. After that I oiled the critical points with good old Hoppe\’s gun oil. I also scrubbed my bore with a stainless steel tornado brush dipped in bench-rest copper solvent. I emptied two 5 round mags with no stove-piping.
Off and on I have been searching for my multi-tool, afterI find it, I will inspect the barrel mount and correct it. As per your suggestions, I will use a blue thread-locker and test again.
I have a basic muzzle break on it, and it is tight, I guess I should lock that on too.
