.357 147gn \”Smileys\” 4.4 gn W231 .38 Special loads

Setup my chronograph about 3 1/2 feet from muzzle. Chronograph used for S&W Model 10, S&W Model 15, S&W Model 19, S&W Model 37, S&W Model 586, Marlin 1894C Carbine. Just as accurate as my Montana Gold 142gn off of a rest. Stout recoil, not as much as 158gn, but not as little as 125gn or 130gn. Will probably step this load up a bit, but will be my starting point for new lots of W231… if I ever go back to it .. standardizing all my .38 Special, .45ACP and 9mm to Accurate #5.
