357 sig using 124gr nukes??

I just bought a barrel to convert a .40 to 357 sig. I\’m playing with loads. I was thinking I would use the 124 gr nukes I have on hand, but the fact that they expand at lower velocities (by design) makes me question if there is a benefit to loading these for 357 sig (just use 9mm if I\’m loading for 1000-1100 fps).

Is this logic sound, or am I missing something?
