My neighbor gave me some of these to try out and so far I am very impressed for the price. I purchased more and received them today.
My load data
23.5gr SMP 735 (This is a surplus ball powder with a touch faster burn rate than H335)
Tula KVB-223 small rifle primer
FC headstamp case (probably from M193 ball, had the primer crimp that had to be removed)
Seated to fit an AR magazine, 2.250\” OALOut of my match rifle with a 1:7 twist Krieger barrel, I am seeing groups between 0.3-0.5 MOA at 100 yards.
Tomorrow I am going to try the 300 yards range with them using my AR and a Remington LTR. I am also going to try a load with Shooters World Precision Powder. Will update with data.
I have used the 69gr Sierra MK or Nosler CC for years. I tested some Priv Partizan in 69 gr as well. I then found these, in stock, during the thing they called a pandemic, and they worked great. The go to load has been 25.70gr of Win 748 (from Ladder Testing), seated to 2.260, with CCI450 (needed to get 748 going). Cases are Lake City 16 sorted to 92.0-92.4gr. I shot several 10rd strings through my CED Chronograph with the following results (avg) 2888fps, STD = 7.7, ES 27. Rifle is a BCM with 20\”barrel. Shoots pretty tight groups ~ 0.5-1.0MOA. Only negative is 748 is fairly dirty, but rifle functions just fine (based on thousands of these rounds through this rifle).
I might be turning my load down a touch to 23.0 SMP735. The 23.5 shoots fine in my AR and match gun but primers are starting to crater and show signs of flatness in the Remington.
I need to run some chrono tests to see how consistent the velocity is.
I won a thousand of these last year at the Parma high desert three gun competition and paired them with a cci small rifle magnum primer 24.5 grains of tac and once fired FC cases sized with a SB die and trimmed to length , I seated them to magazine length And taper crimped the bullets using a Redding taper crimp die and proceeded to test fire them in multiple weapons from my competition. AR and several other gas guns to my coyote and rat guns both bolt action the results through all testing were excellent and an improvement over my traditional loads in that bullet weight range from 62-75 grains I was producing sub 1/2 moa groups at 100 with my 3 gun rifle and less than with my bolt guns , other miscellaneous ARs threw them into an inch or less. I plan on purchasing 6000 for hunting and competition this month if you still have them.

I bought 500 of these about 10days ago shipping was super fast (thanks for that)!!!! I\’ve loaded up about 150 with 3 different powders and have had no success. My tools are a 16\” Areo M4E1 1in 7tw. And a build with a 5.56 16\” with a 1in 8tw. I\’ve tried varget sw tactical imr8208 with cci 41 primers. Any advice??

The load is fairly well known and has been published in a few places (Ziedker). It was actually 25.5gr, as published, with a 69gr SMK. I just did ladder testing and my node came out to be 25.70, but I did note that 25.40 was almost as good. If you use WIN 748 anywhere in that range you cant go wrong. FYI, Im using a scale with +/- 0.02gr accuracy and weight sorted fully prepped cases, and yes, it makes a difference.

What kind of issues are you having? Accuracy? Function?
If you are not having success with 8208XBR or Varget, then you need to look at other variables.
Check your powder drops to be sure that they are consistent. 8208 flows really well for me.
Sort brass by headstamp. Do you put a crimp on your finished round? I find that a light crimp really helps with a semi auto.
