Really stupid question.

I\’m getting back into reloading AGAIN, and I\’m having a question. I buy all my new bullets from RMR (Hi Guys!) Except for a bunch of old cast stuff. I am just setting up to load .38 and .357 for my Wife\’s new revolver and got a batch of 158 gr .38./357 RNP. I used my micro meter to make sure I hadn\’t screwed up when I put them in the bin marked .38/.357, and I find they are 0.356. My 115gr 9mm RNPs seem to be the same diameter. Have I screwed up, or are they about the same diameter and are they interchangeable? I\’d rather look stupid than make a potentially dangerous mistake.

Load up a few and see how they perform. It will be dependent on the groove diameter of the barrel. Worst-case scenario is they\’re undersize and they\’ll rattle around in the bore like a horse turd in a post hole and accuracy will suffer.

Well, Ruger does make a Blackhawk that has a 38/357 cylinder with an added 9mm cylinder if that\’s any indication. At least they used to.. Now, the problem would be finding a load data for that 115. Jacketed stuff I see is .357 (for 38 special) and .355 for 9mm.
