Description

The #2 designation means that these cases will have more dents or dings than standard cases. It’s also possible you will get some with case mouths that are chipped or smashed and unusable or wrinkled or split necks.   In most cases you can pop out the primers and use them if you can’t use the cases.  It is always wise to inspect your cases before loading them.  We will send several extras to try to make up for any that are unusable but we may not guess correctly.  I’ve tried to price them accordingly.

These primed cases have never been fired and come from demilled ammunition. They are essentially brand new but may have occasional minor dings or dents from the pulling process. They have the normal pulled case spotting but, once loaded, they will shine up nicely in your vibratory tumbler. The primers are not crimped.

Like with all new brass, it is recommended that you resize the neck before loading to ensure that you have consistent neck tension. This is especially true with pulled brass as sometimes the case mouth can get dinged a little and it may be hard to seat a bullet without sizing. This can be accomplished easily by removing the decapping pin from your resizing die.

NOTE: These must ship UPS ground. The price includes shipping within the lower 48 states. If you are outside of the lower 48 please contact us for additional shipping rates.

250 ordered: 250 usable cases found by headspace sorting(5 thou variance from optimum, only 2 rounds had to be set back, 2 thou. 11 rounds rejected for short headspace less than my 5 thou range. 10 rounds rejected mostly for pleated necks, 1 round with cracked neck, 3-4 rounds for big headstamp scrapes.. total count 250 good to load, plus 20 rejected, 10 of which could load for a shorter headspace chamber than my 2 CMS. I am pleased ! Further, about half of the rounds were within 2 thou of my optimal headspace number, which is hard enough to do when you are trying. These are not the yellow box, etc., but at this price, they will be fine. All of the primers were good but for 1, yea one. I’m FL resizing these mostly to clean up some dings, and get a good round, sized neck. Will loadem, then shootem.

250 ordered. About 270 sent. About 60 have pleats (creased folds) on the neck and taper. The majority of those only have pleats (creased folds) on the taper. These were created when the straight walled case was neck sized and probably was not annealed which these are still not. Those may fire form out, but I tend to believe the stress/fatigue at the crease will be an early failure point. Will definitely anneal those before fire forming. So I have 210 cases, that many have other dings and dents that will disappear on the first firing and only a handful that are bad enough to measurably effect case volume. Over all review….Meh. No my favorite RMR deal

Have not had any problems with this lot of brass 6.5 cred. Primed
Bullet pulled, of course resized but
was almost like butter compared to
What I am used to with range brass. RMR gets a high-five from me.

6.5 creedmore brass was a disappointment, out or 250 cases 71 totally unusable many have severe folding on the necks and even the more minor folds would certainly split upon firing. not the fault of RMR they are only selling them

We have been including quite a bit of extra brass with the Creed sho you should have gotten quite a bit more than just 250 cases. That said, I don’t think we sent 70 extra but I do think we sent about 50 extra. Should have made it at least worth the money.
