Description

Proudly manufactured right here in the Rocky Mountain Reloading factory, Rocky Mountain Thunder (RMT) bullets are cast from a lead/tin/antimony alloy with a brinell hardness of 18 and a beveled base for easier reloading.  The hardness of these bullets has been optimized for accuracy while still resisting leading in the barrel.  Our special non-sticky lube is Alox free and has a melting point of 165 degrees Fahrenheit, so it works well even in warmer climates.

This bullet looks the same and has the same profile as our .357/.38 125 grain bullet, but it has been specially sized for 9mm.

If you are looking for a very affordable and accurate bullet then our RMT bullet is made just for you!

Seems undersized. I measured them with calipers at 355 or 354 and they lead my 9mm Lone Wolf barrel pretty badly. With 356 this barrel has always been fairly resistant to leading. At full loads and loads that barely cycle it leads, so it wasn’t an issue of hardness. I guess it’s still lead for the pot though.

      Jake,
I cannot find anyone with your email address in our order database. Are you sure that these bullets came from us? Perhaps you have us mixed up with another manufacturer. Since they are lead, we run these bullets slightly oversize. I would love to speak with you regarding them.

I have been using these in my Lone Wolf barrel for over 2 years and do not have excessive leading. Sure there is some, but that happens in all barrels when shooting lead. I have found in my extensive shooting and reloading experience that Thundercast bullets are very consistent and true to size. Thank you RMR for all that you do and also for your commitment to quality.

Just purchased 2000 of these. They look great and have provided accuracy within the specs i was looking for with minimal leading through the 50 rounds I’ve fired so far working up a load. Very very happy with my purchase so far, if anything changes throughout the rest of the 2000 rounds I’ll update. Thanks RMR!!
