Description
Rocky Mountain ThunderCast (RMT) bullets are cast from a lead/tin/antimony alloy with a brinell hardness of 18. The hardness of these bullets has been optimized for accuracy while still resisting leading in the barrel. Our special non-sticky lube is Alox free and has a melting point of 165 degrees Fahrenheit, so it works well even in warmer climates.

Never really reloaded lead bullets before I know a few guys that do so I figured I’d try these out. I was quite impressed they start and seat easily and are as accurate as anything I’ve loaded thus far in 45 acp. And the charge I’ve been using is 4 grains of bullseye if that helps anybody.

Loaded a few hundred and shot them in local matches before loading another 500 that I took to the national matches this year. Shot personal best scores with these bullets. The lube is a great hot weather lube and didn’t melt everywhere like some I’ve used when casting at home. Didn’t have any leading or problems cleaning. My service pistol using jacketed bullets had a much dirtier bore than my wad gun. Used 3.8gr of Bullseye for a soft shooting load, but your mileage may vary.
