December 9, 2021 at 1:09 pm #394716Justin Chechuck ParticipantMy pet load:
 Bullet: RMR 69 Grain
 Powder: Varget
 Primer: Win SRP
 Case: Federal
 COAL: 2.25″
 Crimp: Yes FCD
 Shots Fired: 5
 Extreme Spread: 19 FT/S
 Standard Deviation: 8 FT/S
AVG Velocity: 2753 FT/STest Gun: White Oak Armarment SPR (20″ 223 Wylde AR that’s ran Suppressed with Deadair Nomad) Groups vary day to day but it’s usually around 1/2″ or less. The data from above on that specific day produced 3/8″ group. That’s 5 shots at 100 yards with said gun. Feel free to replicate at your own risk. December 9, 2021 at 10:07 pm #394919timebak1 ParticipantI haven’t received my RMR 69gr bullets yet, but that virtually identical load and setup using the Sierra 69gr BTHP Match, and around 25.2gr of Varget gets a touch more velocity out of my Rock River Arms Varmint Special with 20″ Wylde chambered stainless heavy bull barrel, with no muzzle brake on it. Groups probably average around 3/8″, but I get 1/4″ and less often enough that it stays quite interesting. If I could dope the wind better, my average group size would be less. Using the Lee FCD makes a noticeable difference in the ES & SD. Can’t wait to try the RMR 69gr HPBT. -
