 What OAL should I use? Thanks for any helpDecember 16, 2021 at 5:19 am #396044Eric B Participant@James:
Use any book data for N320 that you have for 115 grain jacketed bullets, start at the lowest end. You can use the same OAL I used above, 1.075, but I’ve run these bullets as long as 1.10. Keep in mind, that their profile is not conducive to guns with a short throat if they are loaded long. As long as you start at the minimum charge, and test as you work up, you’ll be fine.December 22, 2021 at 7:25 pm #397587james.maple ParticipantEric
Thanks I started with 3.5 grains of N320 and worked my way up 3.8 and worked great with a oal of 1.10 to 1.116. At 3.5 grains I had one stove pipe out of 5,at 3.7 I had 2 stove pipe out of 5 ,at 3.8 and 4.0 grains all rounds cycled fine. will be checking the cases for over pressure but at first look all looks good. Once again thanks for the helpDecember 23, 2021 at 1:33 pm #397822Todd H ParticipantDouble post. I missed the existing section for the 115MPR. Apologies… Glock 17.5 w a bunch of mods.
