January 18, 2024 at 4:19 pm #507960tomlowe ParticipantI got a batch with the tar sealant. I’m using a Dillon 650 and the cases get stuck while belling the case. I can muscle through but wonder what everyone else is doing with these cases. January 20, 2024 at 10:20 am #508054crackerpacks ParticipantThe first thing I do with these primed cases is clean out the sealant and residual powder.
I put a 9mm brass cleaning brush on my Lyman Case Prep Xpress and run the cases over it. It only takes a few seconds and the inside of the case is clean.
It’s an extra step to do upfront, but these primed cases are a great value and you save the priming step.January 20, 2024 at 12:30 pm #508063tomlowe ParticipantCrackerpacks: Many thanks for the reply. I don’t have a Lyman Case Prep, but I will try with my Dremel tool.
