I’ve been loading CFE Pistol with 6.3-6.4 grains with COL of 1.230″ using 230 grain hollow points. I’ve found the taper crimping die increases the bullet OAL from the seating die. I compare information from Sierra, Hornady, Speer and other manuals. Check that the rounds fit in your magazine and allows the weapon to go into battery. This load should have a velocity between 830-850 fps. I haven’t taken the opportunity to verify. They feel strong and good to me, but not overwhelming when fired. I’m satisfied with the performance of the powder. It burns clean and compete.
