Todd H ParticipantForgot to put in COAL: 1.58″ Todd H ParticipantJust got my first revolver in over a decade, GP100 in .357. Long time RMR fan, love the In House line in .224, 9, 10, 45. Couldn’t find a lot of info on using the Lee FCD with these, so I did some testing. New Starline brass, S&A small pistol primers, IMR4227. Crimps w FCD at Full, 3/4, and 1/2 turn. Used Hodgdon’s data for the 146JHP, 15.2, 15.5, and 16 (book max) grains. The 3/4 and full crimps showed no creep at max charges.
The 1/2 crimp showed creep with 2 rounds after 5 max charge recoils, 0.001 and 0.003″. Inconsequential to this new revolver reloader. That was 2 out of about 10 rounds in that position. That said, the grouping on the full crimp was about 2″ at 25yds. Great stuff! Many thanks to the Jake and the RMR crew! Todd H ParticipantDouble post. I missed the existing section for the 115MPR. Apologies… Glock 17.5 w a bunch of mods.
