I have a Kimber 2K11 that is picking about chambering. I recently loaded the 124FMJs to an OAL of 1.165 which is what I load for 115gr plated RN.
The 124 stick in the chamber lock up the slide the 115gr do not. I’m thinking it must be the difference in the Ogive between the two. So I am trying to seat the 124 deeper so the bullet doesn’t engage the rifling as early. In trying to achieve a shorter OAL, I’m getting deformation of the case. It’s creasing below the base of the bullet. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Depending on the sizing die that you are using, that isn’t unusual to see a slight bulge in the brass. Your sizing dies is probably undersizing the brass, this helps to prevent setback when the bullet is chambering.
