Any updates on this? I have tested the 147 gr match winners in both the round nose and truncated cone and I have found it impossible to find a load that is under 2.5″ groups at 100 yards. I think these are just not a viable option for loading at 2200 to 2500 fps. I didn’t see evidence of jacket separation but I suspect they are not that stable at rifle speeds. Tearing of the holes in the target seems to indicate that. I have tested them in 1:16 twist barrels (most common) and 1:10 twist barrels (very uncommon unless you buy custom). I don’t think I will be ordering more of these. I still have not found a source of cheap plinking bullets for 350 legend after a year of looking.
Damn, Oh well. I bought 500 of the 147 grainers to load up for range ammo. I am not quite sure how they compare length wise with the commercial winchester 145 gr fmjs. I foolishly shot all of them I had so I don’t have one to pull to compare.
