Description
These mixed .224/5.56 bullets are mostly (80 – 90%) SS109 bullets, pulled from military ammo. But, you’ll also find some hollow points and soft points, and the weights will be mixed, as well as the point design. If you don’t mind hand sorting, this would be an inexpensive way to get some plinking/practice bullets!
These are, of course, pulled bullets, and the pull marks are mostly pretty minor, but you may find an occasional bullet that is mangled beyond use. As always, when dealing with pulled bullets there may always be some bullets of different styles, weight, and/or caliber. With all the SS109 bullets, judicious use of a magnet will sort them out quickly.
I saw a note on the barrel to watch out for .243, so there may be a very few 6mm bullets in the mix. You have been warned! Mixed calibers is always a potential problem with pulled bullets, though. If you are careful and are diligent with your sorting there should be no problem.
Please, be sure that you are willing to sort bullets before purchasing!
NOTE: There MAY be a very occasional tracer bullet mixed in. We are doing all we can to pick them out, but we may not be able to get them all. They are illegal in some jurisdictions, so if you get any you are highly advised to throw them away!
