Description
Sierra says these are 2nds because some of the tips are damaged or missing. It is a very small percentage. Sierra says it should be less than 20% but that was their worst case scenario. My guess is it’s less than 10%. Expect 2nds. Actually, expect them to be garbage so that you can be surprised and elated when you see that they’re actually really good.

Promptly received my box of 250 projectiles. I did a quick sort through them to satisfy my curiosity on these “2nds”. I found 10 projectiles that were “defective”. A 4% reject rate. Seven projectiles had mal-formed green tips. Three were missing the green tip entirely. I will likely remove the mal-formed tips and then have 10 projectiles of an open hollow point design! Very pleased with how the math and quality worked out on this purchase!
