Description
These primed cases have never been fired and come from demilled ammunition. They are essentially brand new but may have occasional minor dings or dents from the pulling process. They have the normal pulled case spotting but, once loaded, they will shine up nicely in your vibratory tumbler. The primers are not crimped.
Like with all new brass, it is recommended that you resize the neck before loading to ensure that you have consistent neck tension. This is especially true with pulled brass as sometimes the case mouth can get dinged a little and it may be hard to seat a bullet without sizing. This can be accomplished easily by removing the decapping pin from your resizing die.
The #2 designation means that these cases will have more dents or dings than standard cases. It’s also possible you will get some with case mouths that are chipped or smashed and unusable or wrinkled or split necks. In most cases you can pop out the primers and use them if you can’t use the cases. It is always wise to inspect your cases before loading them. We will send several extras to try to make up for any that are unusable but we may not guess correctly. I’ve tried to price them accordingly.

Long term happy RMR customer. Just a warning about 1 in 5 of the cases I received had smashed mouths. I did not count the net good cases as I am happy overall.

Just received delivery of my cases – I have to say they look WAY better than described. Some show signs of a bullet having been installed, but that is what sizing dies are for. Honestly, I’ve had brand new brass that didn’t look this good upon inspection.

Some of the cases have issues on the mouth but it’s real rare and I was still able to reload them.
Overall very happy and will likely buy another load. Can’t have too much brass!

I got the wrong order!!! I ordered #2 cases and these look like #1 to me!!! VERY happy with purchase and the hand written “Thank you” note just shows this company is willing to go above and beyond for customer satisfaction. 10 star rating!!!

Had 5 dinged case mouths out of 125 and one case that was not formed right such that it would not fit into a Lee shell holder. Otherwise the cases are good.

My second and third batch appear of excellent quality as in #1 quality. RMR is top notch in customer service and manufactures top tier products a very affordable prices. I now hear that Sierra compares their bullets to RMR!!!
Thanks again for for making precision affordable. I do appreciate you taking the time for the hand written note. Going above and beyond will serve all of us well!!!

These are definitely worth buying, considering the price. I would say that about 5% of the 750 cases I bought had problems that caused me to scrap them. Most of the problems had to deal with crushed mouths and a few with such deep dents that they just weren’t worth saving. The scarier problem had to deal with the case rim. Several cases just would not go into the shell holder or would just flop around in the holder – with the rim only about 1/2 as thick as it should have been (and these just passed through my visual inspection, so be careful). Another problem I’ve had with them is an occasional failure of the primers to ignite. I’m firing them out of an AR that has a lightened, single stage trigger and probably 1 in 30 rounds need a second hammer strike to ignite them and a handful had to be dismantled and reprimed to work and that didn’t work in a handful of them. I figure they were de-milled for some reason, and the primers might have been a reason why.
