ParticipantAfter several runs using different charges (all running very reliably) trying to see what over 1000FPS in a 3.2″ Max-9 barrel would require and also shooting through my Glock 34:
Both using Win case/Fed primer/1.115″ COL
Max-9
4.3gr Titegroup (TG) = 1009.0 fps
4.0gr TG = 936.9 fps
3.8gr TG = 930.3 fpsGlock 34
4.3gr TG = 1133.4 fps
4.0gr TG = 1067.8 fps
3.8gr TG = 1028.3 fpsI’m loading them now at 3.6gr TG mainly for steel plate use in G34. The hot loads were to approximate commercial (Federal & Hornady 135gr loads carried in my EDC carry Max-9.
3.6gr TG in the G34 gets me 980.0 fps and a power factor of 131.6 which is comfortable for minor USPSA.
Thanks for your input above!

ParticipantThank you!! FWIW, they feed fine in my Glock 19 with OEM barrel. The G34 sports a Wilson barrel, which is a great barrel, but more finicky. Trying the longer length was next on my list. Thanks again!

ParticipantI would love to see answers to this. I’m having feeding issues in my Glock 34 with these flat point bullets, but my Glock 19 feeds just fine. Wilson barrel in G34, OEM in G19. The accuracy is good when they feed.
This is 135gr MW over 3.6gr Titegroup at 1.075″ COL, WIN cases, Fed primers. Have not chron’d yet, but the feel was good; not too stout, not too weak.

ParticipantI’m surprised at the FPS/PF difference in the identical loads immediately above.
.4″ difference in barrel length does not seem like enough to jack up tkisker’s results above that of Greg.

Participant124gr 9mm Nukes – Great bullet!
After starting at 4.0gr, I loaded up another 25 test on 4/12/24 over 4.5g N320 at 1.066″ +/-.
New Sig brass, Federal primers. Average of 1035fps, PF 128.35
Out of my Ruger Max-9, shooting into 4 one gallon water jugs lined up, the plating came off in the 4th jug and in the dirt just behind the jug, the lead looked like a petal you’d see in an advertisement!
Came across this thread while searching for alt powder. I REALLY like the N320, but not only is it pricey, it is all gone at the moment.
