Description

We have been wanting to make a really good self defense HP for a while now.  In the past our biggest issue with the MPR (Multi Purpose Round) was that it required 1150-1200 fps to reliably expand.  This was doable through full size firearms, but left the short barrel conceal carry guns without much hope of success.  So, we went full out and redesigned our bullet.  We pre-cut the lead core so that it will easily open upon impact.  Our NUKE is unique in that we gave it three internal petals and six external jacket cuts.  The result in ballistics gel is pretty impressive.  At 1100 FPS we’re getting about 14″ of penetration with a diameter of about .630″ in total expansion.  At 1000 fps we are getting 16-17″ of penetration with a diameter of about .590″ in total expansion.  Our three petal design leaves the expanded bullet with a very distinct design that kind of resembles the international symbol for radiation.  We’ve been testing it for a while now and we’re pretty confident that it is THE bullet for short or long barreled self defense loads.  Whether you’re shooting for practice, competition, or self-defense, make sure you’re always hitting with a NUKE!

    Purchased these bullets and shot 49 rounds. loaded with accurate #2 with 4.3 gr. with coal of 1.066″ using S&W M&P 9mm compact. Average velocity is 1027 ft/s. The expansion was spot on the description. penetration was 3 1-gal milk jugs of water about 14″. Great bullets.

    I switched to these from XTP’s because of the price and the quality of the FP bullets I had ordered in the past. I just received them and while I haven’t had a chance to reload or shoot them, they already look to be much better quality than the XTP’s.     Ok I was looking at these and finally at Thanksgiving I saw 2nds with a great coupon code and thought why not. They arrived in 5 days and were beautiful. I can’t possibly imagine what made them 2nds.
    I quickly loaded some and tried them out. They shot and grouped as good if not better than the MPR bullets. If these were seconds then I can’t imagine how the 1st work.. I will be ordering more of them soom for sure.

    Have a ruger pc carbine at 100 yds put 7 115 grain nukes into nice round 1.75 inch group at 1413 fps,with a little tweaking think they have the potential to even do better, definitely minute of praire dog, just ordered another thousand 😊

    I am super impressed with these bullets. I shot one through gallon jugs of water; it made it through 2 gallons, tapped the third and expanded beautifully. Tested it again through 14 inches of tightly packed denim, t shirts and other clothing, with a piece of pine as a back stop. It cruised through all of the clothing and lodged itself about 3 inches into the wood. I cut it out and found that it didn’t deform at all. So basically this round has the best of both worlds, it expands immediately and amazingly in soft targets and penetrates great through cover. I’m making this my primary self defense round from here on and will be buying a lot more soon! This was out of a glock 17 with 4.3 of TG.

    RMR, top grade company. Fast shipping. Outstanding service. This is my 4th order from them. First time ordering the 115gr nukes. Loaded them with HP-38. Opened up just as shown on their website. I had already ordered the 124gr nukes. Same result with titegroup. I have ordered and loaded RN, TC in 9mm and smiles for my 38/ 357mag. All worked excellent. RMR is my go to bullet supplier. Nothing else for me.

    I’m loading these 115 gr. Nukes at 1.055″ oal . That is the longest I can get them to chamber in my Taurus G2C. I started out at 1.120 but won’t work in the G2. Chronograph shows high 10’s to low 11’s with 5.3 gr. of CFE-Pistol. I see where some people are showing they are seating theirs at 1.125″oal. There is not much seating area at that depth as the bullet is only .510″ long with the case around .750″ That only leaves about .135″ to seat in the case. I have some other full size pistols and a carbine that will accept longer oal but I don’t feel comfortable with that little bit of seating area. The G2 runs these bullets great at the given oal with no problems but may have to find something else for my other guns.

    Loaded with 4.5gr HP-38, COL 1.065″. Shield plus w/ 3.1″ barrel. Chrono’d at 15′. 5 shot average was 1083. Not a bad start.
