These are 2nds because whoever did the priming did not do it correctly.  Some of the primers were inserted at a slight angle.  They should still load and shoot fine, but it looks like the shell holder wasnt tight when they were primed so when the primers were being seated, it went in slightly angled and on many the rims look kinda like they have extractor marks.  Raised brass on the rim may make auto feeding into a progressive difficult.  Please look at the pictures for details.  These cases are brand new!

This demilled brass came from loaded ammunition and has never been fired. They are essentially brand new cases but may have a dull shine or minor dings and dents from the bullet pulling process. They have the normal pulled case spotting but, once loaded, they will shine up nicely in your vibratory tumbler. Like with all new brass, it is recommended that you resize the neck of this brass before loading to ensure that you have consistent neck tension. This is especially true with pulled brass as sometimes the case mouth can get dinged a little and it may be hard to seat a bullet without sizing. Sizing can be accomplished by removing the decapping pin from your resizing die. Like most military brass, the primers are crimped to stay in place!

Typically with pulled brass, as is the case with all demilled products, you may find a few mixed headstamps.
